- The EMPIRE BEARS is a social group for men who want to meet and hang out with other men who find identity with the Bear community.
While a classic Bear is large, husky, and hirsuit, our members range in age from 20s to 70s, size M to XXXL, and smooth to sasquatch. The bond we share is that we are a happy, fun-loving, accepting group of men who enjoy hanging out and making new friends.
The Empire Bears' goal is to provide a safe place for men just coming out to meet other men. It's a place where men with issues of weight, age, or self image can feel safe and nurtured. It's a place where friends join together for dinner, movies, bowling, theater, concerts, hockey, lacrosse, and a ball game. Occasionally it's a group gathering to play cards or heading off to the mountains for a weekend of camping.
The Empire Bears are this and so much more. Come check us out. Just look for the big guys laughing and having fun.
